About Me

Hi everyone,

My name is Stephen Cox and this is my website, TopTenSmartTech.com.

So, a little about me… I’ve always been fascinated by technology. I mean, who isn’t? My whole life has been technology. I loved technology and computing in school, I studied technology at college in Europe, and I spent years of working at one of the world’s largest consumer electronic brands (no name dropping, I’m not that guy). Being at the forefront of the consumer electronics industry is a very exciting place to be; you get to see how innovation not only changes the world, but how it can change your own little world – at home.

Now, having left consumer electronics to keep myself close to home and my young family (Dad can’t be travelling the world playing with cool gadgets, apparently), I am regularly sent products by my friends who still work in the industry to see what I think of them. It’s great for me and for them: I get to continue playing with all this cool stuff, and they get my unbiased and professional opinion on the new smart tech products their companies are releasing. So I thought I would start writing my thoughts down. You’re reading my thoughts!
